CDBG Five-Year Consolidated Plan & Analysis of Impediments to Fair Housing Choice 2024 Update

The City of Sierra Vista receives an annual allocation of approximately $250,000 in Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) funds. The City has now completed the planning process for the Five-Year Consolidated Plan, which identifies goals, objectives, and strategies for addressing housing and community development needs, including those of the homeless and other special needs populations. The City has also completed an Analysis of Impediments to Fair Housing Choice, which represents Sierra Vista’s efforts in making an objective assessment of the nature and extent of Fair Housing concerns in the City and the potential impediments to making Fair Housing choice available to its residents.
